According to our junior bookgroup if a nine year old were to read this book, it would creep the living daylights out of them!  Kyle should watch out for the "Darkest Corners" where the creatures are burning cars. And he should definitely avoid that girl Caddy and her terrifying doll "Raggie Maggie."
