And the winners are...

The discussion from Book Group favoured "The Hate U Give" and "After the Fire" for the CILIP Carnegie Medal.

I loved "Where the World End" a beautifully told historical novel with a strong sense of time and place. Let us know what you think Book Group!

  1. I definitely preferred "The Hate U Give" over "Where the World Ends". I personally don't think "Where the World Ends" was that good a book as I found it slow-going and boring. I think "The Hate U Give" was a much better book as it was more interesting and enjoyable to read.

  2. Personally I prefer The Hate You Give to Where The World Ends and I was very surprised when I heard that it had won the CILIP Carnegie medal.I wasn't a fan of the story for Where the World Ends and overall it didn't interest me. My personal favourite of the books was After the Fire but THUG was a close second.
